Now you can connect to the web for free

Google WiFi is a free wireless Internet service we're offering to the city of Mountain View as part of our ongoing efforts to reach out to our hometown. With your WiFi-enabled device and a Google Account, you can go online for free by accessing the network name 'GoogleWiFi'.

Reporting an outage

We have created a messaging service for our users to report problems with the network. While we can't answer each call individually, we do monitor the incoming messages. To report a problem, leave a message at 650-450-8491

Join our online discussion

Many of our users have joined the WiFi Help Discussion in Google Groups. The project team monitors this group and from time to time makes announcements about the network. You can join by going to WiFi-Help-Discussion
