The Google WiFi signal strength will depend on your range from the access point. We recommend that you check the signal strength often. In Windows, the signal meter is often found at the bottom right corner of your deskbar.
If your signal strength meter is low, we suggest changing your location as the signal may be greater in certain areas. The Google WiFi network is primarily an outdoor network, and you may need a WiFi modem to access Google WiFi indoors.
You may wish to reference our map (may load slowly) of Google WiFi nodes to confirm that Google WiFi is available from your current location. If you are not receiving good coverage from your home, you may wish to host a Google WiFi node on your property. We are working hard to improve our coverage, and appreciate your continued patience.
