Google Wifi Help

My device is associating to another network, not Google WiFi. Why?

Print
This may occur when there is more than 1 available wireless network within range of your wireless device. If your device is associating to another network, it is possible that:

  • The other wireless network is set as the preferred wireless network in your network connection manager.

  • OR

  • Another network is offering a stronger signal.

  • You can associate with ‘GoogleWiFi’ by following these steps for your Windows XP or Macintosh OSX operating system.
